I had the pleasure of attending an extraordinary meeting on Saturday.
The 50th Annual Oak Tree Lodge was held at the Masonic Old Oak Park near Little River, Kansas, with a large crowd on hand.
Each year, the Grand Master is personally invited. He receives a lambskin from the Masonic Old Oak Park Association, which everyone present signs as a record of their attendance at the Oak Tree Lodge. In addition, the Oak Tree Association set, and the Grand Master and his officers dedicated and consecrated a monument at the site. They are also preparing a time capsule to be placed inside and opened in 25 years.
This being the 50th Anniversary, each living Past Grand Master was personally invited to attend the Oak Tree Meeting, bring their lambskin, and display them at the meeting.
As usual, the meal was excellent, the atmosphere exceptional, and the Masonic Experience second to none. It's my hope and pleasure that you can attend the next Oak Tree Meeting. You will be glad you did. Congratulations, R.W. Brother Glenn Davis and his host of helpers (too many to mention here), on a very successful 50th Anniversary of the Oak Tree Meeting!
