William “Bill” B. Harlow, 90, of McPherson, died January 12, 2024, at Hutchinson Regional Medical Center. He was born March 31, 1933, in Tacoma Park, MD, to Samuel and Eleanor Harlow.

Bill graduated from Polytechnical High School, Long Beach, CA, and Columbia College (MO) with a degree in business.

He retired from the United States Air Force as a Senior Master Sergeant with over 22 and a half years of service, and numerous awards and commendations. After retirement from the military, Bill worked as an accountant in Denver, CO for over 25 years. He was a Master of the Royal Secret of the 32 Degree of the Ancient and Accepted Scottish Rite and a Noble of the Mystic Shrine in Arab Shriners of Topeka, KS.

On April 25, 1953, he married Betty L. McKeever at Assumption Church in Topeka. They shared over 62 years of marriage prior to her death on May 31, 2015. In 2016, Bill married Rosemary Stover in Topeka.

Bill is survived by: his wife, Rosemary; sisters, Mary Johnson, and Tee Meyer; four stepdaughters; and many nieces and nephews.

He was preceded in death by his parents; wife, Betty; and brother, Patrick.

Bill was a kind and generous soul, had a delightful sense of humor and had many wonderful stories to share about his rich life.

Cremation has taken place, and a memorial service will be held 11:00 a.m., Friday, January 26th, at The Cedars clubhouse in McPherson, KS.
